| Colors
The Frequency Panel color scheme is adjustable as illustrated below.

|
|
| Display MIDI Notes and Grid |
When checked, MIDI note indicators will be shown. |
|
|
|
| Frequency Scale
The frequency axis can display using either a logarithmic
(recommended!) or linear scale. It can also be configured to
display over a fixed frequency range, or to automatically adjust the
scale range based on the underlying data.
|
| Auto Scale |
When checked, the frequency scale will automatically
expand or shrink to accommodate the underlying data.
When unchecked, enter the desired minimum and maximum frequency
values in the adjacent text boxes.
|
| Logarithmic Scale |
When checked (recommended), the frequency scale will be
displayed logarithmically. When unchecked, the frequency scale
will be displayed linearly.
|
|
|
| Hint: |
The frequency scale can be quickly toggled between
logarithmic/linear scaling by clicking the lin/log toggle button
located to the immediate right of the frequency axis. This affects
only the current plot.
|
|
| Power Scale
"Power" is the relative signal strength at each
frequency. This axis can be configured to display using either
logarithmic or linear scaling. The linear scale is much cleaner,
displaying only the strongest frequencies and hiding weaker signals.
|
| Logarithmic Scale |
When checked, the power scale will be displayed using
logarithmic scaling.
When unchecked, the power scale will be displayed using linear
scaling. |
|
|
| Hint: |
The power scale can be quickly toggled between
logarithmic/linear scaling by clicking the lin/log button
located immediately above the power axis. This affects only the
current plot. |
