Configuring the Midi Note Window

 

 

After generating MIDI via either real-time playback/record or using the NoteMap Window, MIDI data is displayed in the MIDI Note Panel, where functions are providing for adjusting and optimizing the timing.

Colors

The MIDI Note Window color scheme is adjustable as illustrated below.

 


Initial View

These settings determine how much information will be displayed when the window is first opened.

 

# Measures Select the # of measures to be displayed.
Lowest Note Select the lowest note to be displayed.
Highest Note Select the highest note to be displayed.

Actions on Double-Click

These settings determine what actions will occur when you double-click on a note.

 

Add to Monitor If checked, the note will be added to the Timing Statistics Monitor.
Edit Note If checked, the MIDI Note Editor dialog will be opened for the clicked note.
