| Timing Display
The time axis of the audio waveform is indicated via a grid of vertical
lines drawn at regular time intervals. AudioExplorer can either
draw a fixed number of these lines drawn at a time interval that is
calculated based on the total time of the displayed waveform, or it can draw lines at a fixed time
interval. Using the latter option, the grid may become very dense,
or it may disappear entirely depending on the duration of the audio data
and the current zoom level.
|
| Grid Density |
Select this option to draw a fixed number of timing grid
lines, and enter the number of lines desired in the text box. To
disable grid lines, enter 0. |
| Fixed Interval |
Select this option to used a fixed delta-time between the
grid lines, and enter the time interval in the text box. To
disable grid lines, enter 0. |

| Zooming
AudioExplorer provides several mechanisms for zooming into a portion
of the audio waveform. The "Zoom In" and "Zoom
Out" commands (available from either the Wave Panel context menu,
or from the WavePanel toolbar) zoom in or out, respectively, by a fixed
percentage factor.
|
| Zoom In/Out Factor |
Enter a percentage value to be used by the "Zoom
In" and "Zoom Out" commands. |
| Auto-zoom to Selection |
When checked, drag-selection of a region of the audio
waveform will cause the current waveform view to zoom into the new
selection. |
