Move the archive to a temporary directory and unzip it.
Double-click Setup.exe and respond to the prompts.
From your Start menu, find and click Programs - AudioExplorer - Audio
Explorer.
The first time you run the application, the registration form will
appear. Enter your serial number and registration key, and click
Register.
You are ready to run AudioExplorer. It is recommended that you first
click the ToolBox button
and select System-Project to select a drive and folder where AudioExplorer
will store its data files.
NOTE: The MP3-import feature of AudioExplorer requires that DirectX
be present on your computer. While installing AudioExplorer on a
system without DirectX, you will observe an error message notifying you that
"AudioToWave.dll" cannot be installed, and this error can be
disregarded. All other features of AudioExplorer functions quite well
without DirectX.
If you want to obtain DirectX, it is available from Microsoft.
If you are running Windows 98, Windows NT, or Windows
2000 and you have not previously installed the .NET
Framework, you will need to do so in order to install and run
AudioExplorer. The framework is already included with
Windows XP.
If you are not sure whether you have the already
installed the .NET framework, download this
tiny application. If it runs, then you are ready to
roll.
If you do not yet have the .NET framework installed, you can
get it directly from Microsoft.
